Overslam - Liftgate - LH (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Open the liftgate.
  2. Turn the LH liftgate overslam counterclockwise to remove it from the liftgate assembly.

Install

  1. Install the LH liftgate overslam into the the liftgate assembly.
  2. Close the liftgate.
  3. Check for gap/flushness between liftgate and surrounding panels.

    Measure 10x points labeled in image. Refer to CVIS for current specification targets.
  4. Open the liftgate.
  5. Adjust the liftgate overslam to achieve flushness target.

    Rotate the overslam clockwise to decrease bumper height or counter-clockwise to increase bumper height as required to achieve flushness target.
  6. Close the liftgate.
