Clevis Clip - Brake (Remove and Replace)

Remove
- Open the LH front door.
- Lower the LH front window.
- Move the LH front seat backwards.
- Disconnect LV power. See LV Power (Disconnect and Connect).
- Remove the driver footwell cover. See Cover - Footwell - Driver (Remove and Replace).
- Remove the driver knee airbag. See Knee Airbag - Driver (Remove and Replace).

Release the cotter clip that attaches the brake clevis clip pin to the pedal assembly.
NoteRemove the cotter clip by hand.

Remove the brake clevis clip pin from the brake pedal assembly, and then release the clevis clip from the pedal.
NoteWiggle the brake pedal to aid in pin removal.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Plastic trim tool
Install

Align the brake pedal with the iBooster rod, and then install the brake clevis clip pin that attaches the clevis clip to the brake pedal assembly.

Install the cotter clip that attaches the brake clevis clip pin to the pedal assembly.
NoteMove all parts to original position. Replace the cotter clip if damaged.
- Install the driver knee airbag. See Knee Airbag - Driver (Remove and Replace).
- Install the driver footwell cover. See Cover - Footwell - Driver (Remove and Replace).
- Connect LV power. See LV Power (Disconnect and Connect).
- Move the LH front seat to original position.
- Raise the LH front window.
- Close the LH front door.
