Spoiler - Rear (Retrofit using Jig)

Procedure

Clean the liftgate area of any
debris.
NoteClean all debris and prepare the area for installation of the rear spoiler. Wipe the area with an Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA) wipe and allow the surface to dry for 1 minute.NoteIf the area requires any paint correction, request assistance from shop detailer before installation of the rear spoiler.

Secure the spoiler jig special tool
(1694265-00-A) onto the liftgate.
NoteLine up jigs with the edges of the liftgate, and then use masking tape to secure the jigs as needed.

Perform a dry fit of the rear
spoiler.
NoteThe rear spoiler should line up with reference markings on the jigs. Adjust the jigs for a centered installation of the spoiler.

Peel off the adhesive tape on the rear
spoiler, and then install the spoiler.
NoteCarefully line up the rear spoiler to the jigs and apply pressure from the center outwards. Verify the spoiler is fully adhered to the liftgate.

Remove the spoiler alignment
jigs.

Verify the rear spoiler is properly
installed.
NoteWipe away any excess debris with an IPA wipe.
