Bracket - A-Pillar - Upper - LH (Remove and Replace)

Torque Specifications

  • Ratchet/torque wrench
Reuse

Remove

  1. Open the LH front door and lower the LH front window.
  2. Remove the LH middle A-pillar trim. See Trim - A-Pillar - Middle - LH (Remove and Replace).
  3. Remove the LH instrument panel end cap. See End Cap - Instrument Panel - LH (Remove and Replace).
  4. Remove the LH upper A-pillar trim. See Trim - A-Pillar - Upper - LH (Remove and Replace).
  5. Release the electrical harness from the LH upper A-pillar trim bracket.
  6. Remove the bolts (x4) that attach the LH upper A-pillar trim bracket to the vehicle, and then remove the bracket from the vehicle.

    • 10 mm socket
    • 2 in extension
    • Ratchet/torque wrench

Install

  1. Install the bolts (x4) that attach the LH upper A-pillar trim bracket to the vehicle.
    4 Nm (2.9 lbs-ft)

  2. Position the electrical harness to the LH upper A-pillar trim bracket.
  3. Install the LH upper A-pillar trim. See Trim - A-Pillar - Upper - LH (Remove and Replace).
  4. Install the LH instrument panel end cap. See End Cap - Instrument Panel - LH (Remove and Replace).
  5. Install the LH middle A-pillar trim. See Trim - A-Pillar - Middle - LH (Remove and Replace).
  6. Raise the LH front window and close the LH front door.
