Air Line - Valve Block Intake/Exhaust - Air Suspension (Remove and Replace)

Remove
- Open the LH front door and lower the LH front window.
- Raise and support the vehicle on a 2 post lift. See Raise Vehicle - 2 Post Lift.
- Remove the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace).
- Disconnect LV power. See LV Power (Disconnect and Connect).
- Remove the LH and RH underhood aprons. See Underhood Apron - LH (Remove and Replace).
- Remove the front underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Front (Remove and Replace).

Remove the bolts (x6) that attach the
front fascia bracket to the carrier.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 10 mm socket
- Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
- 4 in extension

Remove the push clips (x5) that attach
the LH front wheel arch liner to the front fascia, and then move the arch liner to the
side for access.

Remove the bolt that attaches the
front fascia to the LH fender bracket.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Torx T25 socket
- Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
- 4 in extension
- Repeat steps 8 and 9 for the RH side of the vehicle.

Disconnect the front fascia electrical
connectors (x2).
CAUTIONDO NOT push down on the red locking tab. Pull the tab away from the connector until the connector is unlocked, and then continue pulling to release the connector.

Remove the bolts (x3) and release the
clips that attach the front fascia valance to the front aero shield, and then release
the valance from the aero shield.NoteDo not remove middle bolts (x3).Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 10mm socket
- Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
- 4 in extension

With assistance, release the front
fascia assembly from the fender brackets, and then pull the fascia forward to remove it
from the vehicle.
NoteSet fascia on a padded surface.
- Raise the vehicle to a comfortable working height. See Raise Vehicle - 2 Post Lift.

Remove the fastener assemblies (x3)
that attach the air suspension compressor carrier bracket to the air suspension
compressor bracket, and then support the compressor.CAUTIONThe air compressor will drop once the fasteners are removed. Support the compressor with hangers or bungee cords.NoteThe fastener assemblies consist of the spring, spring seat, and isolator.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Torx T30 socket
- 4 in extension

Remove the valve block intake/exhaust
line from the air suspension compressor.
NoteUse pliers to slide the clamp off the compressor inlet up intake line, and then remove the line from the compressor.

Remove the valve block intake/exhaust
air line from the vehicle.
NotePry the upper and lower clips (x2) from the body.NoteRemove the air line from above.
Install

Install the new valve block
intake/exhaust air line onto the vehicle.
NoteSecure the clips (x2) to the body.

Install the valve block intake/exhaust
air line to the air suspension compressor.
NoteInsert the valve block intake/exhaust air line over the compressor inlet, then slide the hose clamp over the inlet and line, and then release the pliers to secure the clamp over the air line and inlet.

Secure the spring seats (x3) that
attach the air suspension compressor carrier to the air suspension compressor
bracket.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Torx T30 socket
- 4 in extension

With assistance, install the front
fascia onto the vehicle, and then secure the fascia to the fender brackets.
NoteRoute the fascia harness while installing. Verify the front fascia valance sits under the front aero shield before proceeding.

Apply Loctite 222 to the fasteners,
and then install the bolts (x3) that attach the front fascia valance to the front aero
shield panel.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 10mm socket
- Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
- 4 in extension

Connect the front fascia harness
electrical connectors (x2), and then engage the connector lock.

Install the bolt that attaches the
front fascia to the RH fender bracket.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Torx T25 socket
- Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
- 4 in extension

Install the push clips (x5) that
attach the RH front wheel liner to the front fascia.

Install the bolt that attaches the
front fascia to the LH fender bracket.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Torx T25 socket
- Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
- 4 in extension

Install push clips (x5) that attach
the LH front wheel liner to the front fascia.

Install the bolts (x6) that attach the
front fascia bracket to the carrier.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 10 mm socket
- Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
- 4 in extension
- Connect LV power. See LV Power (Disconnect and Connect).
- Install the front underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Front (Remove and Replace).
- Install the LH and RH underhood aprons. See Underhood Apron - LH (Remove and Replace).
- Install the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace).
- Raise the LH front window and close the LH front door.
