Remove

  1. Open all the doors and open all the windows.
  2. Move the driver and front passenger seats fully forward.
  3. Remove the LH and RH 2nd row seat outer bolsters. See Bolster - Outer - Seat - 2nd Row - LH (Remove and Replace).
  4. Remove the 2nd row lower seat cushion. See Seat Cushion - Lower - 2nd Row (Remove and Replace).
  5. Remove the LH 2nd row seat back. See Seat Back - 2nd Row - LH (Remove and Replace).
  6. Remove the RH 2nd row seat back. See Seat Back - 2nd Row - RH (Remove and Replace).
  7. Remove the 2nd row center pivot cover.
  8. Remove the bolts (x3) that attach the LH 2nd row seat inboard pivot weldment to the body, and then remove the pivot weldment from the vehicle.
    26 Nm (19.2 lbs-ft)
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 11 mm deep socket

    Note
    Lift the front of the rear trunk floor to access the top bolt and datum.

Install

  1. Position the LH 2nd row seat inboard pivot weldment into the vehicle, and then install the bolts (x3) that attach the pivot weldment to the body.
    26 Nm (19.2 lbs-ft)
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 11 mm deep socket

    Note
    Lift the front of the rear trunk floor to access the top bolt and datum.
  2. Install the 2nd row center pivot cover.
  3. Install the RH 2nd row seat back. See Seat Back - 2nd Row - RH (Remove and Replace).
  4. Install the LH 2nd row seat back. See Seat Back - 2nd Row - LH (Remove and Replace).
  5. Install the 2nd row lower seat cushion. See Seat Cushion - Lower - 2nd Row (Remove and Replace).
  6. Install the LH and RH 2nd row seat outer bolsters. See Bolster - Outer - Seat - 2nd Row - LH (Remove and Replace).
  7. Restore the driver and front passenger seats back to their original position.
  8. Raise all the windows and close all the doors.
