Sensor - Ride Height - Front - LH (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Raise and support the vehicle.
  2. Remove the LH front wheel. See Wheel Assembly (Remove and Install).
  3. Release the clip that attaches the LH front wheel liner to the vehicle.
  4. Disconnect the electrical harness from the LH front ride height sensor.
  5. Remove the nut that attaches the LH front ride height sensor to the control arm.
  6. Remove the bolt that attaches the LH front ride height sensor to the vehicle, and remove the sensor from the vehicle.

Install

  1. Position the tab and install the bolt that attaches the LH front ride height sensor to the vehicle.

  2. Using a new nut, install the arm that attaches the LH front ride height sensor to the control arm.

    CAUTION
    Do not bind or invert the orientation of the sensor arm.
  3. Connect the electrical harness to the LH ride height sensor.
  4. Position the clip that attaches the LH front wheel liner to the vehicle.

  5. Install the LH front wheel. See Wheel Assembly (Remove and Install).
  6. Remove the vehicle from the lift.
  7. Perform a ride height adjustment. See Ride Height (Adjust).
