System - Windshield Washer (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Remove the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace).
  2. Remove the LH underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - LH (Remove and Replace).
  3. Disconnect the shock tower hose from the washer tank hose.
  4. Raise and support the vehicle. See Raise Vehicle - 2 Post Lift.
  5. Remove the LH front wheel. See Wheel Assembly (Remove and Install).
  6. Release the clips (x7) that attach the front portion of the LH front wheel house liner to the vehicle.
  7. Disconnect the wiring harness from the washer system and release the clips (x3) that attach the harness to the vehicle.
  8. Remove the horn assembly. See Horn Assembly (Remove and Replace).
  9. Remove the clip that attaches the bottle neck to the vehicle.
  10. Remove the nuts (x3) that attach the washer system to the vehicle.
  11. Remove the washer system from the vehicle.

Install

  1. Position the washer system to the vehicle mounting points.
  2. Install the nuts (x3) that attach the washer system to the vehicle.

    3x nuts, 10mm, 5Nm
  3. Install the clip that attaches the bottle neck to the vehicle.
  4. Install the horn assembly. See Horn Assembly (Remove and Replace).
  5. Connect the electrical harness to the washer system and install the clips (x3) that attach the harness to the vehicle.
  6. Install the clips that attach the front portion of the LH front wheel house liner to the vehicle.
  7. Install the LH front wheel. See Wheel Assembly (Remove and Install).
  8. Remove the vehicle from the lift.
  9. Connect the shock tower hose to the washer tank hose.
  10. Install the LH underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - LH (Remove and Replace).
  11. Install the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace).
  12. Fill the washer fluid reservoir.
    Tip: The reservoir has a capacity of 4.5 liters.
