  26. Position oil drain underneath LH front corner of vehicle
  27. Remove retention clip for HCU to side sill junction block

  28. Release side sill brake pipe assembly from HCU to side sill bundle

    2x nuts, 12mm, 16 Nm, Allow brake fluid to drain as pipes are removed, Catch fluid with shop towels as needed
  29. Release side sill brake bundle junction block from body and remove assembly from vehicle

  30. Blow out debris left in sill body

Install

  1. Remove oil drain from underneath LH front corner of vehicle
  2. Install side sill brake bundle and secure junction block to body

  3. Secure side sill brake pipe assembly to HCU to side sill bundle

  4. Install retention clip to HCU to side sill junction block

  5. Install sill brake pipe assembly clips to body

  6. Remove fasteners securing brake junction block to RH sill

  7. Install side sill brake pipe assembly to RH rear brake line

  10. Install LH front wheel house liner and secure clips for rear half

  12. Clean area around brake fluid reservoir and remove brake reservoir cap
  13. Check brake fluid level and top off reservoir if necessary

    If level is above Max line, remove extra fluid
  14. Fill brake bleeder reservoir to full level
  15. Install pressure bleeder adapter onto reservoir

    Attach the brake reservoir hose to the brake adapter at this time
  16. Set pressure to 30psi

    Connect power supply to bleeder and turn on the power to set pressure to 30 psi
  17. Using laptop connect to vehicle with ethernet diag kit and Toolbox 3

    Open Toolbox 3 website and establish connection to the vehicle, https://toolbox.teslamotors.com, For local connection issues with Toolbox 3 refer to article #43695, Media converter box is powered by laptop USB or 12v power outlet, Ethernet connection will provide communication
  18. Select "Actions" tab and search for ‘"bleed"
  19. Remove bleeding valve covers and install the fluid catching bottle to LH front outer brake caliper bleeding valve before starting the ESP

  22. Repeat the above steps untill clear fluid and no air bubbles come out of the LH front brake caliper bleeding valve

  23. Remove the fluid catching bottle, Torque LH front brake caliper bleeding valves and install covers

  24. Remove bleeding valve covers and install the fluid catching bottle to RH front outer brake caliper bleeding valve before starting the ESP

  33. Remove bleeding valve cover and install the fluid catching bottle to LH rear brake caliper bleeding valve before starting the ESP

  36. Remove the fluid catching bottle, Torque LH rear brake caliper bleeding valve and install cover

  37. Turn off and remove pressure brake bleeder kit from vehicle
  38. Install brake reservoir cap
  39. Pump brake pedal a few times to ensure pedal feels normal
  40. Using Toolbox 3:
    1. Select the Actions tab and search for "Stiffness".
    2. Select the ODIN routine TEST_BRAKE_X_STIFFNESS-TEST-SERVICESearch for routine in ToolboxChassis / Brakes - Brake Stiffness Test, and then click the link of the routine.
    3. If brake pads or rotors have been replaced, select UNBURNISHED under "Action_Type". In all other cases, select BURNISHED.
    4. Click RUN, and allow the routine to complete.

  41. Disconnect Toolbox 3 from vehicle and remove laptop and ethernet diag kit
  42. Install rear underhood apron
