Bump Stop - Hood (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Open the hood.
  2. Turn the hood bump stop counterclockwise to remove it from the hood.

Install

  1. Install the hood bump stop onto the hood.
  2. Close the hood.
  3. Check the gap/flushness between the hood and CVIS points.

    Measure 10x points labeled in the picture. Refer to CVIS for current specifications.
  4. Open the hood.
  5. Adjust the hood to achieve flushness target.

    Rotate the hood bump stop clockwise to decrease bumper height or counterclockwise to increase bumper height as necessary to achieve flushness target.
  6. Close the hood.
