Remove

  1. Open all four doors.
  2. Lower the LH front window.
  3. Move the driver and front passenger seats fully forward.
  4. Remove the LH and RH 2nd row seat side bolsters. See Bolster - Outer - Seat - 2nd Row - LH (Remove and Replace).
  5. Remove the 2nd row lower seat cushion. See Seat Cushion - Lower - 2nd Row (Remove and Replace).
  6. Release the electrical connectors (x2) for the center seat belt buckle.
  7. Remove and discard the bolt that attaches the center seat belt buckle.

    15mm. Torque 40 Nm. Discard the bolt after removal.
  8. Remove the center seat belt buckle.

Install

  1. Install the center seat belt buckle.

  2. Install new bolt that attaches the center seat belt buckle to the body.

    15mm. Torque 40 Nm. Install new bolt.
  3. Secure the electrical connectors (x2) for the center seat belt buckle.
  4. Install the 2nd row lower seat cushion. See Seat Cushion - Lower - 2nd Row (Remove and Replace).
  5. Install the LH and RH 2nd row seat side bolsters. See Bolster - Outer - Seat - 2nd Row - LH (Remove and Replace).
  6. Move the driver and front passenger seats back to their original position.
  7. Close the LH front window.
  8. Close all four doors.
