Filter - HEPA (Remove and Replace)

Remove
- Remove the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace).

Remove the clip that attaches the
coolant hose to the LV battery.

Remove the bolts (x3) that attach the
LV battery to the vehicle, then move the LV battery aside.
CAUTIONDo not disconnect the LV battery harness.NoteMove the coolant hose above the LV battery.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 10 mm deep socket
- Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
- 4 in extension

Disconnect the air quality sensor
harness electrical connector.

Remove the HEPA filter cover.

Release the clips (x2) that attaches
the HEPA filter to the vehicle.
Install

Fasten the clips (x2) that attaches
the HEPA filter to the vehicle.
NoteAlign the3 datums into the bottom of the HEPA filter.

Install the HEPA filter cover.
NoteManeuver the HEPA filter cover down and install it under the V-brace crossmember.

Connect the air quality sensor
harness electrical connector.

Install the bolts (x3) that attach
the LV battery to the vehicle.NoteMove the coolant hose under the LV battery.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 10 mm deep socket
- Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
- Ratchet/torque wrench
- 4 in extension

Install the clip that attaches the
coolant hose to the LV battery.
- Install the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace).
