Sill Plate - Front - LH (Remove and Replace)

Torque Specifications

  • Torx T25 socket
  • 4 in extension
  • Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
Reuse

Remove

  1. Open the LH front door and lower the LH front window.
  2. Remove the LH middle A-pillar trim. See Trim - A-Pillar - Middle - LH (Remove and Replace).
  3. Remove the LH lower A-pillar trim from the vehicle. See Trim - A-Pillar - Lower - LH (Remove and Replace).
  4. Remove the bolts (x2) and clips (x3) that attach the LH front sill plate to the lower A-pillar trim.

    TIp
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T25 socket
    • 4 in extension
    • Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
  5. Carefully use a plastic trim to release the sill plate from the lower A-pillar trim.

Install

  1. Install the bolts (x2) and clips (x3) that attach the LH front door sill to the lower A-pillar trim.
    1.9 Nm (1.4 lbs-ft)

    • Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
  2. Install the LH lower A-pillar trim from the vehicle. See Trim - A-Pillar - Lower - LH (Remove and Replace).
  3. Install the LH lower A-pillar trim from the vehicle. See Trim - A-Pillar - Middle - LH (Remove and Replace).
  4. Raise the LH front window and close the LH front door.
