Bracket - Trim - Liftgate - Center (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Remove the lower liftgate trim. See Trim - Liftgate - Lower (Remove and Replace).
  2. Remove the liftgate speaker grille. See Grille - Speaker - Liftgate (Remove and Replace).
  3. Remove the liftgate release cable from the center liftgate trim bracket.
  4. Disconnect the liftgate speaker electrical connectors (x4).
  5. Release the clips (x2) that attach the liftgate audio harness to the center liftgate trim bracket.
  6. Remove the clips (2x push clips, 3x white clips) that attach the center liftgate trim bracket to the liftgate, and then remove the bracket from the liftgate.

  7. Remove the screws (x4) that attach the liftgate speakers (x4) to the center liftgate trim bracket, and then release the tabs (x6) to remove the speakers from the bracket.
    3 Nm (2.2 lbs-ft)

Install

  1. Position the liftgate speakers (x4) onto the center liftgate trim bracket, and then secure the tabs (x6) and install the screws (x4) that attach the speakers to the bracket.
    3 Nm (2.2 lbs-ft)

  2. Position the center liftgate trim bracket assembly onto the liftgate, and then install the clips (2x push clips, 3x white clips) that attach the bracket to the liftgate.
  3. Connect the liftgate speaker electrical connectors (x4).
  4. Install the clips (x2) that attach the liftgate audio harness to the center liftgate trim bracket.
  5. Install the liftgate release cable onto the center liftgate trim bracket.
  6. Install the liftgate speaker grille. See Grille - Speaker - Liftgate (Remove and Replace).
  7. Install the lower liftgate trim. See Trim - Liftgate - Lower (Remove and Replace).
