V Bar - Fascia - Front (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Remove the front fascia assembly. See Fascia Assembly - Front (Remove and Install).
  2. Disconnect the front BLE assembly electrical connector.

    Note
    DO NOT push down on the red locking tab. Pull the tab away from the connector until the connector is unlocked, and then continue pulling to release the connector.r
  3. Remove the screw that attaches the T-badge support to the front fascia assembly.
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T25 socket
    • Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
    • 4 in extension
  4. Release the tabs (x4) that attach the T-badge support to the front fascia assembly, and then remove it from the assembly.
  5. Remove the screws (x3) that attach the front fascia T-badge to T-badge support, and then remove the badge from the support.
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T25 socket
    • Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
    • 4 in extension
  6. Remove the screws that attach the front BLE assembly to the T-badge support, and then remove the BLE assembly from the T-badge support.
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T25 socket
    • Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
    • 4 in extension
  7. Remove the screws that attach the front fascia V-bar to the T-badge support.
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T25 socket
    • Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
    • 4 in extension
  8. Release the clips (x4) that attach the front fascia V-bar to the T-badge support, and then remove the V-bar from the T-badge support.

Install

  1. Position the front fascia V-bar onto the T-badge support, and then fasten the clips (x4) that attach the V-bar to the T-badge support.

    Note
    Align the V-bar guides with the T-badge support gap.
  2. Install the screws that attach the front fascia V-bar to the T-badge support.
    3 Nm (2.2 lbs-ft)
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T25 socket
    • Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
    • 4 in extension
  3. Position the front BLE assembly onto the T-badge support, and then install the screws that attach the front BLE assembly to the T-badge support.
    3 Nm (2.2 lbs-ft)
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T25 socket
    • Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
    • 4 in extension
  4. Position the front fascia T-badge onto T-badge support, and then install the screws (x3) that attach the T-badge to the support.
    3 Nm (2.2 lbs-ft)
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T25 socket
    • Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
    • 4 in extension
  5. Install the T-badge support onto the front fascia assembly.
  6. Install the screw that attaches the T-badge support to the front fascia assembly.
    3 Nm (2.2 lbs-ft)
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T25 socket
    • Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
    • 4 in extension
  7. Connect the front BLE assembly electrical connector.
