Remove
- Enable Service Mode Plus. See Service Mode Plus

On the touchscreen, touch , touch Run, and allow the routine to complete.
NoteMake sure that airbags are disarmed after the routine has completed.

Move the LH front seat
backward.
- Disconnect LV power. See LV Power (Disconnect and Connect).

Remove the LH toeboard
bracket. See Bracket - Toeboard - LH (Remove and Replace).
WarningMake sure LV is disconnected before continuing to the next step.

Disconnect the electrical
harnesses (x2) from the RCM.
NoteSwing open the locking arm to release the connector. Remove the RH connector first.

Remove and discard the nuts
(x3) that attach the RCM to the vehicle, and then remove the RCM from the
vehicle.
Note10mm, 10 Nm
Install

Position the new RCM on the
vehicle, and then install new nuts (x3) that attach the RCM to the
vehicle.
10 Nm (7.4 lbs-ft) -
Connect the electrical
harnesses (x2) to the RCM.
NoteClose the locking arms. Install the LH connector first.
- Install all parts that were removed for access. See Bracket - Toeboard - LH (Remove and Replace).
- Connect LV power. See LV Power (Disconnect and Connect).
- Enter Service Mode Plus. See Service Mode Plus

On the touchscreen, touch , touch Run, and allow the routine to
complete.
NoteMake sure the airbags are armed after the routine has completed.
