Sensor - Air Temperature - Duct - Defrost (Remove and Replace)

Remove
- Open the LH front door and lower the front windows.
- Remove the instrument panel sub-assembly. See Harness - Sub-Assembly - Instrument Panel (Remove and Replace).
- Remove the driver instrument panel duct. See Duct - Instrument Panel - Driver (Remove and Replace).

Disconnect the electrical connector,
and then remove the defrost duct air temperature sensor from the HVAC assembly.
Install

Position the defrost duct air
temperature sensor into the HVAC assembly, connect the electrical connector, and then
install the sensor into the HVAC assembly.
NoteConnect the electrical connector first, and then ensure the sensor is fully seated into the HVAC case.
- Install the driver instrument panel duct. See Duct - Instrument Panel - Driver (Remove and Replace).
- Install the instrument panel sub-assembly. See Harness - Sub-Assembly - Instrument Panel (Remove and Replace).
- Raise the front windows and close the LH front door.
