Switch - Seat Fold - 2nd Row - RH (Remove and Replace)

Remove
- Open the RH doors and lower the RH windows.
- Move the front passenger seat forward.

Fold the RH 2nd row seat to the down
position.
NoteIf the 2nd lower seat cushion is not present, protect the seat as required.
- Remove the RH 2nd row seat back panel. See Back Panel – 2nd Row Seat – RH (Remove and Replace).

Release the clips (x2) that attach the
RH 2nd row back side cover to the seat assembly, and then remove the cover from the seat
assembly.

Remove the clip that attaches the RH
2nd row shoulder plastic trim to the latch assembly.
- Remove the RH 2nd row headrest. See Headrest - 2nd Row - LH (Remove and Replace)
- Remove the RH 2nd row headrest guide locks. See Guide Lock - Headrest - 2nd Row (Remove and Replace).

Remove the bolts (x2) that attach the
RH 2nd row backrest cushion to the frame assembly.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 10 mm socket

Fold the RH 2nd row seat to the up
position, but do not latch the seat back.

Release the clips (x8) that attaches
the RH 2nd row backrest cushion to the backrest frame, and then disconnect the
electrical connector.
NoteDo not remove the cushion from the vehicle.

Remove the clips (x3) that attach the
RH 2nd row shoulder plastic trim to the frame assembly.

Release the clips (x6) that attach the
RH 2nd row shoulder plastic trim to the frame assembly, then disconnect the fold switch
electrical connector.

Release the tabs (x2) that attach the
RH 2nd row seat fold switch to the shoulder plastic trim, and then remove the switch
from the trim.
Install

Position the RH 2nd row seat fold switch onto the shoulder plastic trim, and then
secure the tabs (x2) that attach the switch to the trim.

Position the RH 2nd row shoulder plastic trim onto the seat frame assembly, connect
the RH 2nd row seat fold switch electrical connector, and then secure the clips
(x6).
NoteAlign the fold switch with the frame gap to avoid damage.

Install the clips (x3) that attach the RH 2nd row shoulder plastic trim to the frame
assembly.

Position the RH 2nd row backrest cushion to the backrest frame, connect the
electrical connector, and then fasten the clips (x8).
NoteSecure the lower clips then the connect backrest harness. Make sure all the clips are seated.
- Fold the RH 2nd row seat to the down position.

Install the bolts (x2) that attach the RH 2nd row backrest cushion to the frame
assembly.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 10 mm socket
- Install the RH 2nd row headrest guide locks. See Guide Lock - Headrest - 2nd Row (Remove and Replace).
- Remove the RH 2nd row headrest. See Headrest - 2nd Row - LH (Remove and Replace)

Install the clip that attaches the RH 2nd row shoulder plastic trim to the latch
assembly.

Position the RH 2nd row back side cover to the seat assembly, and then install the
clips (x2) that attach the cover to the seat assembly.
- Install the RH 2nd row seat back panel. See Back Panel – 2nd Row Seat – RH (Remove and Replace).
- Fold the RH 2nd row seat to the up position, and remove the seat protection if present.
- Move front passenger seat to the original position.
- Raise the RH windows and close the RH doors.
