Sensor - Cabin Temperature (Fan Driven) (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Open the RH front door.
  2. Lower the RH front window.
  3. Move the RH front seat rearwards.
  4. Remove the center console phone dock. See Phone Dock - Center Console (Remove and Replace).
  5. Remove the instrument panel service panel. See Service Panel - Instrument Panel (Remove and Replace).
  6. Remove the screws (x2) that attach the cabin temperature sensor to the instrument panel service panel, and then remove the sensor from the panel.

    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Mini ratchet bit set

Install

  1. Position the cabin temperature sensor on the instrument panel service panel, and then install the screws (x2) that attach the sensor to the panel.
    2 Nm (1.5 lbs-ft)

    • Ratchet/torque wrench
  2. Install the instrument panel service panel. See Service Panel - Instrument Panel (Remove and Replace).
  3. Install the center console phone dock. See Phone Dock - Center Console (Remove and Replace).
  4. Move the RH front seat to original position.
  5. Raise the RH front window.
  6. Close the RH front door.
