Bracket - Toeboard - LH (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Open the LH front door and lower the LH front window.
  2. Move the driver seat fully rearward.
  3. Remove the LH front mat.
  4. Remove the driver footwell cover. See Cover - Footwell - Driver (Remove and Replace).
  5. Remove the LH center console side panel carpet. See Carpet - Side Panel - Center Console - LH (Remove and Replace).
  6. Remove the bolts (x2) that attach the LH toeboard bracket to the body.
    9 Nm (6.6 lbs-ft)

    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 10 mm socket
  7. Remove the bolt that attaches the LH toeboard lower bracket to the center console.
    10 Nm (7.4 lbs-ft)

  8. Remove the bolt that attaches the LH toeboard upper bracket to the IP carrier.
    20 Nm (14.7 lbs-ft)

    • 13 mm socket
  9. Slide the body side of the LH toeboard bracket up and out of slotted receptacle, and then remove the bracket from the vehicle.

Install

  1. Put the LH toeboard bracket in the vehicle by sliding the body side of the bracket down and into slotted receptacle.
  2. Install the bolt that attaches the LH toeboard upper bracket to the instrument panel carrier.
    20 Nm (14.7 lbs-ft)

  3. Install the bolt that attaches the LH toeboard lower bracket to the center console.
    10 Nm (7.4 lbs-ft)

  4. Install the bolts (x2) that attach the LH toeboard bracket to the body.
    9 Nm (6.6 lbs-ft)

  5. Install the LH center console side panel carpet. See Carpet - Side Panel - Center Console - LH (Remove and Replace).
  6. Install the driver footwell cover. See Cover - Footwell - Driver (Remove and Replace).
  7. Install the LH front mat.
  8. Restore the driver seat back to its original position.
  9. Raise the LH front window and close the LH front door.
