Remove

  1. Remove the front drive unit. See Drive Unit - Front (Remove and Install)
  2. Release bolts securing RHS bushing carrier and remove assembly

  3. Install RHS bushing carrier and secure bolts

  4. Remove bolts from LH FDU clevis mount to body

  5. Release bolts securing clevis to LH motor mount assembly

Install

  1. Install bolts securing LH motor mount assembly to FDU

    3x bolts, E14, 35 Nm + 55 degrees, Install bolts and perform final torque in the sequence shown
  2. Position the FDU assembly under the vehicle for installation
  3. Raise the FDU into the vehicle

  4. Loosely install bolts securing LH FDU mount to body

  5. Install bolts securing clevis to LH motor mount assembly

  6. Raise the FDU until the front fastener securing RH FDU mount to the body can be installed

  7. Loosely install the front fastener securing the RH FDU mount to the body

  8. Install bolt securing rear of RH FDU mount
