Remove
- Open all four doors
- Lower all four windows
- Move LH front seat forward
- Move RH front seat forward
- Open liftgate

Remove parcel shelf

Remove trunk load floor
-
Fold 40 seat into down position
NoteIf seat cushion is not present, protect the seat as required

Remove RH side bolster trim
Note1x clip, 1x tab, Start by releasing upper portion

Separate RH lower C-pillar trim from
RH mid C-pillar trim
Note4x clips, 1x datum

Remove RH mid C-pillar trim
Note3x clips
-
Release RH upper C-pillar trim and
move aside

Push open RH coat hook

Pry open RH coat hook screw

Fold 60 seat into down position
NoteRelease seat from either button at backrest or from trunk switch, If seat cushion is not present, protect the seat as required

Remove LH side bolster trim

Separate LH lower C-pillar trim from
LH mid C-pillar trim

Release headliner from rear end of

Remove lower liftgate trim
Note8x clips, 2x connectors, Be careful not to hang or drop quickly to prevent damage to connectors

Remove speaker grill trim

Remove liftgate upper trim

Disconnect chimsel connector

Remove the bolt securing LH and RH
antenna amplifier
Note2x bolt, T30, 5 Nm

Remove LH and RH antenna amplifier
Note1x retainer, 1x datum, each Located on the back of the antenna amplifier, Carefully pry the antenna amplifier away to release the retainer
-
Disconnect LH antenna RF filter

Remove LH ground noise filter

Note1x bolt, T30,4 Nm, 1x retaining clip, After bolt has been loosened release antenna from body

Disconnect connectors to LH and RH
antenna amplifier
Note4x connectors, secure defrost harness onto backlite assembly

Disconnect +12V noise filter antenna
from RH side of liftgate glass
Note1x connector

Disconnect rear defrost grid harness
from +12V noise filter antenna located on RH side of liftgate
Note1x connector

Remove +12V noise filter antenna from
RH side of liftgate
Note1x screw, T30, 2 Nm, 1x locating pin, Screw is self contained to filter
-
Apply tape to body surrounding
backlite assembly for protection
-
Clean backlite and secure double
suction cup handles onto both side of backlite assembly
Note2x double suction cup handles, 1 on each side of glass
-
Cut length of square wire to use with
T-handles
NoteMake sure there's adequate wire
-
Secure square wire into T-handle
-
Secure wire to starter tool and push
tool through urethane at upper left side
NoteCarefully push starter wire tool in between backlite assembly and Chimsel
-
Remove wire from starter tool and
secure square wire into one T-handle
-
Remove wire starter tool from
vehicle
-
Cut out and remove rear backlite
assembly
NoteRecommend assistance, if wire is getting caught on Chimsel, equalizer can be used to separate Chimsel from backlite assembly

Remove protective tape from body
NoteInspect body and liftgate assembly for any nicks that may need touch up paint
-
Remove Chimsel from backlite
assembly
-
Remove adhesive residue from backlite
assembly
NoteCarefully remove adhesive residue from backlite assembly

Remove urethane from backlite
assembly
NoteCarefully remove remaining urethane from backlite assembly

Release the LH reverse tail lamp

Remove rear backup camera connector
from RH liftgate harness

Prepare caulking gun and

Secure rear T badge with film onto the
badge alignment tool
Note2x datums, Secure T badge onto installation tool, Perform a dry fit as required, The badge alignment tool will line up with the rear applique

Peel off adhesive backing film
NotePeel off adhesive backing when ready to install badge
-
Install rear T badge onto trunk
NoteStart from the bottom and work your way upwards, Use a roller to go over the badge, Apply pressure and allow the badge to fully adhere, Remove alignment tool
-
Remove adhesive film from badge once
fully seated
-
Verify fitment of badge
NoteVisually inspect the badge and verify it is properly installed, Wipe away any contamination
