Light - Fog/Reverse - Rear - LH (Global) (Remove and Replace)

Note

Remove

  1. Remove the lower liftgate trim assembly. See Trim - Liftgate - Lower (Remove and Replace).

    Note
    It is not necessary to remove the task light cover, task light, or liftgate switch from the trim assembly.
  2. Release the studs (x2) that attach the LH liftgate tail light side cover to the liftgate, and then remove the cover from the liftgate.
  3. Disconnect the LH rear fog/reverse light electrical connector.
  4. Remove the nuts (x4) that attach the LH rear fog/reverse light to the liftgate, and then remove the light from the liftgate.
    4 Nm (2.9 lbs-ft)
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 8 mm socket

Install

  1. Position the LH rear fog/reverse light into the liftgate, and then install the nuts (x4) that attach the light to the liftgate.
    4 Nm (2.9 lbs-ft)
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 8 mm socket
  2. Connect the LH rear fog/reverse light electrical connector.
  3. Position the LH liftgate tail light side cover onto the liftgate, and then secure the studs (x2) that attach the cover to the liftgate.

    Note
    Make sure the trim is properly fitted to the liftgate assembly.
  4. Install the lower liftgate trim assembly. See Trim - Liftgate - Lower (Remove and Replace).
