ECU - Charge Port (Remove and Replace)

Remove
-
Fold the LH 2nd row seat (60 split) in
the down position.
- Remove the rear trunk parcel shelf. See Parcel Shelf - Rear Trunk (Remove and Replace).
- Remove the trunk load floor. See Trunk Load Floor - Rear (Remove and Replace).
- Remove the rear wall rear trunk trim. See Trim - Rear Trunk - Rear Wall (Remove and Replace).
- Remove the side trunk load floor. See Trunk Load Floor - Side (Remove and Replace).
- Remove the LH trunk load floor bracket. See Bracket - Trunk Load Floor - LH (Remove and Replace).
- Remove the trunk floor front trim. See Trim - Front - Floor - Trunk (Remove and Replace).
- Remove the LH 2nd row seat outer bolster. See Bolster - Outer - Seat - 2nd Row - LH (Remove and Replace).

Release the clips (x4) that attach the
LH lower C-pillar trim to the LH mid C-pillar trim.
- Remove LH mid C-pillar trim. See Trim - C-Pillar - Mid - LH (Remove and Replace).
- Release the clips (x7) that attach the LH upper C-pillar trim to the body, and then move it aside. See Trim - C-Pillar - Upper - LH (Remove and Replace).
- Remove the LH trunk side trim. See Trim - Side - Trunk - LH (Remove and Replace).

Disconnect the charge port ECU
connectors (x3).

Remove the bolt that attaches the
charge port ECU to the bracket.
Note10mm. Torque 4 Nm.

Release the tabs (x2) and then move
upward the charge port ECU onto the bracket. Remove the ECU from the vehicle.
Install

Slide down to engage the tabs (x2) that attach the bracket the charge port ECU.

Install the bolt that attach the
charge port ECU to the bracket.
Note10mm. Torque 4 Nm.

Connect the charge port ECU electrical
connectors (x3).
CAUTIONOnce the new ECU is installed, immediately start the software reinstall described in the following steps, as delays might cause excessive LV battery drain.
- Connect a laptop with Toolbox 3 to the vehicle. See Toolbox 3 (Connect and Disconnect).

Click Actions/Autodiag and then
search for Redeploy.

Click SERVICE CAN REDEPLOY, then
click Run. Allow
the routine to complete.
NoteClick X at top right of the window to close once completed. Routine will state pass but update will continue to run in the background. UI will indicate status of update.

Disconnect Toolbox 3 from the vehicle,
and then remove the laptop and the ethernet diag kit.
- Install the LH trunk side trim. See Trim - Side - Trunk - LH (Remove and Replace).

Secure the clips (x7) that attach the
LH upper C-pillar trim to the body.
- Install LH mid C-pillar trim. See Trim - C-Pillar - Mid - LH (Remove and Replace).

Secure the clips (x4) that attach the
LH lower C-pillar trim onto the LH mid C-pillar trim.
- Install the LH 2nd row seat outer bolster. See Bolster - Outer - Seat - 2nd Row - LH (Remove and Replace).
- Install the trunk floor front trim. See Trim - Front - Floor - Trunk (Remove and Replace).
- Install the LH trunk load floor bracket. See Bracket - Trunk Load Floor - LH (Remove and Replace).
- Install the rear wall rear trunk trim. See Trim - Rear Trunk - Rear Wall (Remove and Replace).
- Install the side trunk load floor. See Trunk Load Floor - Side (Remove and Replace).
- Install the trunk load floor. See Trunk Load Floor - Rear (Remove and Replace).
- Install the rear trunk parcel shelf. See Parcel Shelf - Rear Trunk (Remove and Replace).

Close the liftgate.

Fold the LH 2nd row (60 split) seat
into vertical position.

Close the LH rear door.
