Mid Assembly - Instrument Panel (2025+) (Remove and Replace)

This procedure describes work that is specific to 2025+ Model S.

Remove

  1. Remove the LH instrument panel end cap. See End Cap - Instrument Panel - LH (Remove and Replace).
  2. Remove the screw that attaches the LH middle panel to the instrument panel.
    Tip
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • T20 bit
  3. Release the clips (x6) that attach the LH instrument panel middle panel to the instrument panel, and then remove the panel from the vehicle.

Install

  1. Install the clips (x6) that attach the LH instrument panel middle panel to the instrument panel.
  2. Install the screw that attaches the LH middle panel to the instrument panel.
    Tip
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • T20 bit
  3. Install the LH instrument panel end cap. See End Cap - Instrument Panel - LH (Remove and Replace).
