Body Damper - Liftgate - LH (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Open the liftgate.
  2. Remove the screws (x2) that attach the LH liftgate body damper to the body.

    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T30 socket
    • Stubby ratchet/stubby torque wrench

Install

  1. Position the LH liftgate body damper onto the body, and then install the screws (x2) that attach the damper to the body.
    12 Nm (8.8 lbs-ft)

    • Stubby ratchet/stubby torque wrench
  2. Close the liftgate to check for gap/flushness.
  3. Adjust the LH liftgate body damper if necessary.
