Camera Cover - Upper (Remove and Replace)

Remove
- Open the LH front door and lower the LH front window.
- Remove the rear view mirror. See Mirror - Rear View (Remove and Replace).

Carefully pull down on the upper camera cover to release the clips (x4), disconnect the electrical connectors (x3), and then remove the cover from the vehicle.

Remove the bolts (x2) that attach the occupant camera to the upper camera cover, and
then remove the camera from the cover.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Torx T10 bit
- Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
Install

Position the occupant camera to the
upper camera cover, and then install the bolts (x2) that attach the camera to the
cover.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Torx T10 bit
- Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench

Connect the electrical connectors (x3), and then install the upper camera cover by securing the clips (x4).
NoteMake sure the rear view mirror electrical harness is routed so that the harness hangs freely on the outside and is not pinched between the cover and glare shield assembly.
- Install the rear view mirror. See Mirror - Rear View (Remove and Replace).
- Raise the LH front window and close the LH front door.
