Support Base - 2nd Row Cushion (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Remove the LH and RH 2nd row seat outer bolsters. See Bolster - Outer - Seat - 2nd Row - LH (Remove and Replace).
  2. Remove the 2nd row lower seat cushion. See Seat Cushion - Lower - 2nd Row (Remove and Replace).
  3. Place the 2nd row lower seat cushion assembly upside down on a padded workbench.
  4. Release the front clips (x8) that attach the upholstery to the 2nd row cushion support base.

  5. Release the side clips (x2) that attach the upholstery to the 2nd row cushion support base.
  6. Release the rear clips (x3) that attach the upholstery to the 2nd row cushion support base.

  7. Release the clips (x4) that attach the cushion foam to the 2nd row cushion support base.

  8. Remove the clips (x2) that attach the RH seatbelt upholstery to the assembly.
  9. Remove the clips (x2) that attach the LH seatbelt upholstery to the assembly.
  10. Fold the LH seatbelt upholstery inward, and then tuck the upholstery into the 2nd row cushion foam.
  11. Fold the RH seatbelt upholstery inward, and then tuck the upholstery into the 2nd row cushion foam.
  12. Pull the LH and RH corners of the upholstery down and away from the 2nd row cushion support base.
  13. Remove the 2nd row cushion support base from the assembly.

Install

  1. Position the 2nd row cushion support base onto the seat assembly.
  2. Pull the LH and RH corners of the upholstery up and onto the 2nd row cushion support base.
  3. Pull the RH seatbelt upholstery out of the 2nd row cushion foam and unfold the upholstery onto the 2nd row cushion support base.

    Ensure the upholstery is uniform and not twisted.
  4. Pull the LH seatbelt upholstery out of the 2nd row cushion foam and unfold the upholstery onto the 2nd row cushion support base.

  5. Install the clips (x2) that attach the LH seatbelt upholstery to the assembly.
  6. Install the clips (x2) that attach the RH seatbelt upholstery to the assembly.
  7. Fasten the clips (x4) that attach the cushion foam to the 2nd row cushion support base.
  8. Fasten the rear clips (x3) that attach the upholstery to the 2nd row cushion support base.
  9. Fasten the side clips (x2) that attach the upholstery to the 2nd row cushion support base.
  10. Fasten the front clips (x8) that attach the upholstery to the 2nd row cushion support base.
  11. Install the 2nd row lower seat cushion. See Seat Cushion - Lower - 2nd Row (Remove and Replace).
  12. Install the LH and RH 2nd row seat outer bolsters. See Bolster - Outer - Seat - 2nd Row - LH (Remove and Replace).
