Buckle - 1st Row - LH (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Remove the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace).
  2. Move the driver seat to the most rearward and lowest position.
  3. Open the LH rear door.
  4. Disconnect LV power. See LV Power (Disconnect and Connect).
  5. Remove the driver seat inboard side shield. See Side Shield - Inboard - Driver Seat (Remove and Replace).
  6. Disconnect the driver seat buckle electrical connector.
  7. Remove and discard the bolt that attaches LH 1st row buckle from the seat track.
    40 Nm (29.5 lbs-ft)
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • T45P socket

Install

  1. Position the driver seat buckle into the vehicle, and then install a new bolt that attaches the buckle to the seat track.
    40 Nm (29.5 lbs-ft)

    Note
    Align the guide pin onto the seat track.
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • T45P socket
  2. Connect the driver seat buckle electrical connector.
  3. Install the driver seat inboard side shield. See Side Shield - Inboard - Driver Seat (Remove and Replace).
  4. Connect LV power. See LV Power (Disconnect and Connect).
  5. Install the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace).
  6. Move the driver seat to the original position.
