Speaker - Pedestrian Warning (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. See Raise Vehicle - 2 Post Lift.
  2. Remove the valance from the front aero shield. See Valance - Front Fascia (Remove and Replace).
  3. Remove the clips (x3) that attach the RH wheelhouse liner to the front fascia.
  4. Disconnect and release pedestrian warning speaker electrical harness.

    CAUTION
    DO NOT push down on the red locking tab. Pull the tab away from the connector until the connector is unlocked, and then continue pulling to release the connector.
  5. Remove the screws (x3) that attach the pedestrian warning speaker to the front fascia.

Install

  1. Install the screws (x3) that attach the pedestrian warning speaker to the front fascia.

    3x screws, T25, 1.8 Nm
  2. Install the pedestrian warning speaker electrical harness.

    CAUTION
    Push the red locking tab into the connector to engage the locking mechanism. DO NOT push down or pull up on the red locking tab.
  3. Install the clips (x3) that attach the RH wheelhouse liner to the front fascia.
  4. Install the valance to the front aero shield. See Valance - Front Fascia (Remove and Replace).
  5. Remove the vehicle from the lift.
