  1. Open LH front door
  2. Lower LH front window
  3. Raise and support vehicle

  4. Open hood

    Using center display touchscreen > Quick Controls > Frunk Open
  5. Remove rear underhood apron

  6. Power off vehicle from center display

    Via Controls > Safety & Security > Power Off
  7. Disconnect LV battery connector and First Responder Loop

    2x connectors, Lift up and release green locking tab, Pull black connector lock outwards to release connection
  8. Remove LH front wheel cap

    Lift every other spoke at a time until cap is released from rim
  9. Loosen LH front wheel

    5x nuts, 21mm, 175 Nm
  10. Raise vehicle partially and lower onto locks

    Set vehicle to comfortable working height, Make sure there's an audible click of the locks on both sides before lowering, otherwise vehicle may tilt to the side
  11. Remove LH front wheel

  12. Release clips securing front portion of the LH front wheel house liner

    7x clips, Move aside for access
  13. Remove clips securing rear portion of the LH front wheel house liner and remove from vehicle

  14. Raise vehicle fully and lower lift onto locks

  19. Remove bolts securing front skid plate to body sill

  20. Remove bolts securing front skid plate to body casting

  21. Remove bolts securing front skid plate to front subframe and remove skid plate

  22. Release clip securing ground cable to battery

  23. Remove bolt securing ground cable to HV battery and move cable aside

  24. Position coolant drain container under the front of the vehicle to catch vehicle coolant
  25. Release LH front sill coolant hose

  26. Release LH sill coolant hose clips to body and pack

  27. Place foldable funnel and absorbent material under PCS hose

    Place funnel and absorbent material underneath coolant hose
  28. Release PCS outlet hose from HV battery

    1x hose clip, Plug HV battery
  29. Remove foldable funnel and absorbent material from under PCS hose

  30. Release clip securing PCS hose to HV battery

  31. Remove PCS outlet hose from vehicle

    Remove any coolant plugs from hose, Carefully maneuver hose out from in-between HV battery and vehicle body, Note orientation of the hose during removal
  32. Install PCS outlet hose into vehicle

  36. Place foldable funnel and absorbent material under PCS hose

  37. Secure PCS outlet hose onto HV battery

  40. Route and install bolt securing ground cable to HV battery

  48. Apply Loctite 222 onto front aero shield bolts and install fasteners securing front aero shield to vehicle

  50. Lower vehicle partially and set lift onto locks

  51. Install LH front wheel house liner and secure clips for rear half

  54. Lower vehicle until tires are touching the ground

    Raise lift off locks, then hold lock release lever to keep locks free while vehicle is lowered
  55. Torque LH front wheel

  56. Install LH front wheel cap

    Align valve stem with cap
  57. Remove coolant bottle cap
  58. Inspect coolant level and top off as necessary

    Ensure that the fluid level is at the Max line, Top off fluid as required
  59. Connect First Responder Loop and LV battery connector

    2x connectors Secure FRL first, Seat LV battery connection and push black connector lock inwards to secure, Engage green locking tab when fully seated
  60. Release IP service panel

  61. Using laptop connect to vehicle with ethernet diag kit and Toolbox 3

    Open Toolbox 3 website and establish connection to the vehicle, https://toolbox.teslamotors.com, For local connection issues with Toolbox 3 refer to article #43695, Media converter box is powered by laptop USB or 12v power outlet, Ethernet connection will provide communication
  62. Select ‘Actions/Autodiag’ tab and search for ‘Purge'

  64. Disconnect Toolbox 3 from vehicle and remove laptop and ethernet diag kit
  65. Install IP service panel

  66. Inspect coolant level and top off as necessary

  67. Install coolant bottle cap
  68. Install rear underhood apron

  70. Remove vehicle from lift

  71. Raise LH front window
  72. Close LH front door
