-
Place a shop tower over the HV
harness.
- Position a coolant drain container underneath the LH rear of vehicle.
-
Release the edge clip from the
subframe.
-
Release the hose clip, disconnect the
rear drive unit inverter to heat exchanger hose from the inverter coupling, and then
allow the fluid to drain.
Tip: Use a long radiator hose pick to release the clip for the rear drive unit hose.
- Raise the vehicle fully and lower lift onto locks.
-
Release the hose clip, disconnect the
rear drive unit inverter to heat exchanger hose from the oil cooler, and then allow the
fluid to drain.
- Position the coolant drain underneath the RH rear of vehicle.
-
Carefully release the clips (x4) that
attach the rear drive unit inverter to heat exchanger hose to the vehicle.
-
Carefully manuever the rear drive unit
inverter to heat exchanger hose out from under the subframe to remove it from the
vehicle.
Install
-
Position the rear drive unit inverter
to heat exchanger hose into the subframe.
-
Connect the rear drive unit inverter
to heat exchanger hose to the oil cooler, and then install the hose clip.
NotePerform push-pull-push testto verify the hose is properly seated.
-
Secure the clips (x4) that attach the
rear drive unit inverter to heat exchanger hose to the vehicle.
- Lower the vehicle partially and set lift onto locks.
-
Connect the rear drive unit inverter
to heat exchanger hose to the inverter coupling, and then secure the hose clip.
NotePerform push-pull-push testto verify the hose is properly seated.
-
Install the edge clip to the
subframe.
- Install the rear wheel. See Wheel Assembly (Remove and Install).
- Raise the vehicle fully and lower lift onto locks.
-
Use a shop towel to clean away all
residue from under drive unit, and then remove all the shop towels.
- Install the mid aero shield panel. See Panel - Aero Shield - Mid (Remove and Replace).
