Camera - Interior (Remove and Replace)

Install

  1. Enable Service Mode. See Service Mode (Enable and Disable).

    CAUTION
    To prevent potential damage to the replacement camera, Service Mode must be enabled prior to connecting the camera.
  2. Install the upper camera cover. See Upper Cover - Rear View Mirror (Remove and Replace).
  3. For HW4 cameras:
    1. Unlock the vehicle gateway. See Gateway (Unlock).
    2. On the touchscreen, tap the Service Mode "wrench" (at the bottom of the touchscreen UI), and then tap Driver Assist > Cameras > Update Camera, select INTERIOR in the drop list, click Run, and allow the routine to complete.
    3. Exit Service Mode. See Service Mode (Enable and Disable).
  4. Raise the LH front window and close the LH front door.
