Remove

  1. Press brake pedal to turn on drive rails.
  2. Set air suspension ride height to “Very High”.

    Using center display > Controls > Suspension > ''Very High''.
  3. Turn wheel fully to the right.
  4. Open hood.

    Via Center Display > Controls > Frunk Open.
  5. Remove rear underhood apron.

    8x clips.
  6. Remove LH underhood apron.

  7. Remove RH underhood apron.

  8. Remove front underhood apron.

  9. Remove bolts securing fascia bracket to carrier.

    6x bolts, 10mm, 4 Nm.
  10. Remove push clips securing LH front wheel arch liner to fascia and move to the side for access.

    5x push clips, Shift bottom of liner down and flex top of liner against tire.
  11. Remove bolt securing front fascia to LH fender bracket.

    1x bolt, T25, 5 Nm.
  12. Press brake pedal to turn on drive rails.
  13. Turn wheel fully to the left.
  14. Remove push clips securing RH front wheel arch liner to fascia and move to the side for access.

    5x push clips, Shift bottom of liner down and flex top of liner against tire.
  15. Remove bolt securing front fascia to RH fender bracket.

    1x bolt, T25, 5 Nm.
  16. Power off vehicle from center display.

    Via Controls > Safety & Security > Power Off.
  17. Disconnect LV battery connector and First Responder Loop.

    2x connectors, Lift up and release green locking tab, Pull black connector lock outwards to release connection.
  18. Disconnect front fascia harness.

    2x connectors, Pull red tab to disengage lock then disconnect, Located behind RH wheel arch liner.
  19. Release front fascia valance from front aero shield.

    3x bolts, 10mm, 6 Nm, 2x clips, 2x datums, Do not remove 3x middle bolts.
  20. Release fascia from fender brackets and pull forward to remove from vehicle.

    Set fascia on protected surface, Recommend assistance.
  21. Disconnect LH front headlamp.

    1x connector, Disengage red locking tab and pull red tab outwards to release.
  22. Remove bolts securing LH headlamp to vehicle.

    4x bolts, 10mm, 5.9 Nm.
  23. Remove LH headlamp from vehicle.

    Caution not to damage any components during removal.

Install

  1. Install LH headlamp into vehicle.

  2. Install bolts securing LH headlamp to vehicle.

    4x bolts, 10mm, 5.9 Nm.
  3. Connect LH headlamp connector.

    1x connector, Secure connector and fully engage red locking tab.
  4. Install front fascia onto vehicle and secure fascia to fender brackets.

    Recommend Assistance, Route fascia harness while installing, Verify front fascia valance sits under front aero shield before proceeding.
  5. Apply Loctite 222 to fasteners and secure front fascia valance to front aero shield.

    3x bolts, 10mm, 6 Nm, 2x clips, 2x datums, Insert valance datums into aero shield holes, Do not remove 3x middle bolts.
  6. Connect front fascia harness.

    2x connectors, Engage locking tab, Located behind RH wheel arch liner.
  7. Install bolt securing fascia to RH fender bracket.

    1x bolt, T25, 5 Nm.
  8. Install push clips securing RH front wheel liner to fascia.

    5x push clips.
  9. Connect First Responder Loop and LV battery connector.

    2x connectors Secure FRL first, Seat LV battery connection and push black connector lock inwards to secure, Engage green locking tab when fully seated.
  10. Press brake pedal to turn on drive rails.
  11. Turn wheel fully to the right.
  12. Install bolt securing fascia to LH fender bracket.

  13. Install push clips securing LH front wheel liner to fascia.

    5x push clips.
  14. Install bolts securing fascia bracket to carrier.

    6x bolts, 10mm, 4 Nm.
  15. Install front underhood apron.

    7x clips.
  16. Press brake pedal to turn on drive rails.
  17. Turn steering wheel back to center.
  18. Release IP service panel.

    2x tabs, 4x datums, Release top tabs and slide rearward.
  19. Using laptop connect to vehicle with ethernet diag kit and Toolbox 3.

    Open Toolbox 3 website and establish connection to the vehicle. Ethernet connection will provide communication.
  20. Select ‘Actions/Autodiag’ and search for ‘Redeploy’.
  21. Select ‘SERVICE CAN REDEPLOY’, click ‘Run’, and allow routine to complete.

    Select ‘X’ at top right of window to close once complete, Routine will state pass but update will continue to run in the background, UI will indicate status of update.
  22. Disconnect Toolbox 3 from vehicle and remove laptop and ethernet diag kit.
  23. Install IP service panel.

    2x tabs, 4 datums, Slide forward engaging datums then secure tabs upward into IP.
  24. Install RH underhood apron.

    10x clips.
  25. Install LH underhood apron.

  26. Install rear underhood apron.

  27. Close hood .
  28. Enter the vehicle and close LH front door.
  29. Set air suspension ride height to “Medium” and place into Jack Mode.

    Using center display, Controls > Suspension > ''Medium'', Using center display, Controls > Service > "Jack Mode''.
  30. Open LH front door then exit vehicle.
  31. Apply tape to wall 27.126 inches (68.9cm) from the ground.
  32. Apply tape to floor 25 feet (7.6m) from the wall.
  33. Park vehicle on flat level surface perpendicular to wall and align front fascia with tape on floor.

    Choose a dark work area with low ambient lighting for best results, Ensure tire pressure is set to specification.
  34. Project a laser perpendicular to the wall onto the center point of the vehicle, then mark a center-line on the wall.
  35. Measure 78cm and make a mark on both sides of the center-line.

    These reference marks will be the targets for horizontal adjustment.
  36. Select Adjust Headlights using center display.

    Via Controls > Service > Adjust Headlights, Use scroll wheel to adjust, Note Service Mode is required for the horizontal adjustment.
  37. Adjust LH headlight beam.

    Note
    Adjust LH headlight so that top of horizontal beam aligns with tape mark on wall, Do not sit in vehicle as this will affect headlamp height.
  38. Adjust RH head lamp beam .

  39. Exit Headlight adjustment using center display.

    Select X at the top left of menu to exit adjustment mode.
