Switch - Seat Fold - 2nd Row - Trunk (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Open the LH rear door.
  2. Fold the LH 2nd row seat to the down position.
  3. Remove the rear trunk parcel shelf. See Parcel Shelf - Rear Trunk (Remove and Replace).
  4. Remove the LH 2nd row side bolster trim. See Bolster - Outer - Seat - 2nd Row - LH (Remove and Replace).
  5. Release the clips (x4) that attach the LH lower C-pillar trim to the LH mid C-pillar trim.
  6. Release the clips (x3) that attach the LH mid C-pillar trim to the body, and then remove the trim from the vehicle.
  7. Release the clips (x7) that attach the LH upper C-pillar trim to the body, and then move the trim aside.
  8. Remove the clip that attaches the LH trunk side trim to the C-pillar support bracket.
  9. Release clips (x3) that attach the button carrier to the LH C-pillar support bracket, and then remove the button carrier from the support bracket.
  10. Disconnect the trunk 2nd row seat fold switch electrical connector.
  11. Release the tabs (x4) that attach the trunk 2nd row seat fold switch assembly to the button carrier, and then remove the switch from the carrier.

Install

  1. Install the trunk 2nd row seat fold switch onto the button carrier.
  2. Connect 2nd row seat fold switch electrical connector
  3. Install the button carrier onto the LH C-pillar support bracket.
  4. Install the clip that attaches the LH trunk side trim to the C-pillar support bracket.
  5. Install the clips (x7) that attach the LH upper C-pillar trim to the body.

  6. Install the clips (x3) that attach the LH mid C-pillar trim to the body.

  7. Install the clips (x4) that attach the LH lower C-pillar trim to the LH mid C-pillar trim.
  8. Install the LH 2nd row side bolster trim. See Bolster - Outer - Seat - 2nd Row - LH (Remove and Replace).
  9. Install the rear trunk parcel shelf. See Parcel Shelf - Rear Trunk (Remove and Replace).
  10. Fold the LH 2nd row seat to the up position.
  11. Close the LH rear door.
