Fascia Assembly - Front (HW3) (Remove and Replace)
Correction code 10011002 1.32 NOTE: Unless otherwise explicitly stated in the procedure, the above correction code and FRT reflect all of the work required to perform this procedure, including the linked procedures. Remove
- Remove the front fascia assembly from the vehicle. See Fascia Assembly - Front (Remove and Install).

Release the connector lock, and then
disconnect the front BLE electrical connector.
CAUTIONDO NOT push down on the red locking tab. Pull the tab away from the connector until the connector is unlocked, and then continue pulling to release the connector.

Remove the screw and release the tabs
(x4) that attach the T-badge carrier to the front fascia assembly, and then remove the
carrier from the assembly.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Torx T25 socket

Disconnect the radar heater electrical
connector.

Disconnect the LH and RH front fog
light electrical connectors.
-
Release the connector lock, and then
disconnect the pedestrian warning speaker electrical connector.
CAUTIONDO NOT push down on the red locking tab. Pull the tab away from the connector until the connector is unlocked, and then continue pulling to release the connector.

Remove the bolts (x2) and push clips
(x4) that attach the LH and RH lower valance to the front fascia assembly.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 10 mm socket

Release the tabs (x10) that attach the
lower valence to the front fascia assembly, and then remove the valence from the front
fascia assembly.

Release the connector lock, and then
disconnect the front fascia ultrasonic sensors electrical connectors (x4).
CAUTIONDO NOT push down on the red locking tab. Pull the tab away from the connector until the connector is unlocked, and then continue pulling to release the connector.

Release the clips (x9) that attach the
front fascia harness to the front fascia assembly, and then remove the harness from the
assembly.

Remove the bolts (x2) that attach the
front fascia grille to the front fascia assembly.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Torx T25 socket

Release the tabs (x11) that attach the
front fascia grille to the front fascia assembly, and then remove the grille from the
assembly.

Remove the screws (x3) that attach the
LH front fog light to the front fascia assembly.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Torx T25 socket

Release the tabs (x4) that attach the
LH front fog light to the front fascia assembly, and then remove the fog light from the
assembly.
- Repeat steps 13 and 14 for the RH front fog light.

Remove the front parking distance
sensors (x4) from the front fascia assembly.
NoteRelease the tabs (x2) that attach the sensor to the front fascia assembly to remove it.
Install

Use IPA wipes to clean the area where
the radar heater will be installed.
NoteAllow 1 minute for the IPA to dryNoteConfirm the part number for the vehicle color.

Peel the adhesive backing, and then
install the radar heater onto the front fascia assembly.
NoteAlign the radar heater to the etching on the front fascia.NoteMake sure there are no creases or bubbles.

Install the front parking distance
sensors (x4) into the front fascia assembly.
NoteMake sure the seal is fully seated on the sensor prior to installation.

Position the LH front fog light onto the front fascia assembly, and then secure the
tabs (x4) that attach the fog light to the assembly.

Install the screws (x3) that attach the LH front fog light to the front fascia
assembly.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Torx T25 socket
- Repeat steps 4 and 5 for the RH front fog light.

Position the front fascia grille into the front fascia assembly, and then secure the
tabs (x11) that attach the grille to the assembly.
NotePosition tabs into place prior to applying pressure.NoteVerify the grille is fully seated.

Install the bolts (x2) that attach the front fascia grille to the front fascia
assembly.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Torx T25 socket

Position the front fascia harness into the front fascia assembly, and then secure the
clips (x9) that attach the harness to the assembly.

Connect the front parking distance sensor electrical connectors (x4), and then engage
the locking tabs.

Position the lower valence onto the front fascia assembly, and then secure the tabs
(x10) that attach the valence to the assembly.
NotePosition tabs into place prior to applying pressure.NoteVerify the trim is fully seated.

Install the bolts (x2) and push clips (x4) that attach the LH and RH lower valance to
the front fascia assembly.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 10 mm socket

Connect the pedestrian warning speaker electrical connector, and then engage the
connector lock.

Connect the LH and RH front fog light electrical connectors.
-
Connect the radar heater mat electrical connector.
-
Position the T-badge carrier into the front fascia assembly, and then install the
screw and secure the tabs (x4) that attach the carrier to the assembly.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Torx T25 socket

Connect the front BLE electrical connector, and then engage the connector lock.
- Install the front fascia assembly onto the vehicle. See Fascia Assembly - Front (Remove and Install).
