Link - Stabilizer Bar - Rear - LH (Remove and Replace)

Replace

Remove

  1. On the touchscreen, touch Controls > Service > Jack Mode to enable Jack Mode.
  2. Raise and support the vehicle. See Raise Vehicle - 2 Post Lift
  3. Remove the LH rear wheel. See Wheel Assembly (Remove and Install).
  4. Remove the nut that attaches the LH rear stabilizer bar end link from rear stabilizer bar.

    Note
    Break the nut loose, and then counter-hold the ball joint with a 5mm hex to remove the nut.
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 15 mm socket
    • 5 mm hex
  5. Remove the nut that attaches the LH rear stabilizer bar link to the rear knuckle.

    Note
    Break the nut loose, and then counter-hold the ball joint with a 5mm hex to remove the nut.
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 15 mm socket

Install

  1. Position the LH rear stabilizer bar link onto the knuckle assembly, and then install a new nut that attaches the link to the assembly.
    55 Nm (40.6 lbs-ft)

    Note
    Counter-hold the ball joint with a 5mm hex to tighten the nut.
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 15 mm socket
  2. Position the LH rear stabilizer bar link to the stabilizer bar assembly, and then install a new nut that attaches the link to the assembly.
    55 Nm (40.6 lbs-ft)

    Note
    Adjust the end link to align with stabilizer bar. Move the stabilizer bar up/down to get the correct angle to install end link as needed.

  3. Install the LH rear wheel. See Wheel Assembly (Remove and Install).
