This procedure describes work that is
specific to 2025+ Model X.
Remove

Place the vehicle in Service Mode
Plus.
- Enter the last six digits of VIN into the Vehicle Ops mobile app.
- Select vehicle from the list.

Swipe to the left, and then select
Enable Service Mode Plus
.

Remove the rear cup holder assembly.
See Cup Holder - Rear - Center Console - LH (2025+) (Remove and Install).
NoteNo need to separate the USB panel and the rear cup holder.
- Remove the air wave assembly. See Air Wave Assembly - Center Console (Remove and Replace).

Remove the screws (x6) that secure the
rear console bright strip.
NoteThe 4 screws in the middle are T10 screws, and the 2 at both sides are T20 screws.TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Mini Ratchet Bit Set

Release the datums (x2) and rotate the bright up and out of the console
assembly.
Install

Rotate the bright assembly down into the console assembly and engage the datums
(x2).

Install the screws (x6) that secure
the rear console bright strip.
0.7 Nm (6 lbs-in)
1 Nm (.7 lbs-ft)NoteThe 4 screws in the middle are T10 screws, 0.7 Nm. The 2 screws at both sides are T20 screws, 1 Nm.TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:- Mini Ratchet Bit Set
- Digital Torque Screwdriver 0.10Nm - 2.0Nm

- Install the rear cup holder assembly. See Cup Holder - Rear - Center Console - LH (2025+) (Remove and Install).
- On the touchscreen, press and hold the Exit Service Mode button to exit Service Mode Plus.
