Buckle - 1st Row - LH (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Open the LH front door.
  2. Lower the LH front window.
  3. Move the LH front seat backwards.
  4. Open the RH falcon wing door.
  5. Remove the driver seat inboard side shield. See Side Shield - Inboard - Driver Seat (Remove and Replace).
  6. Disconnect the LH 1st row buckle harness connector from the seat.

    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Small flat head screwdriver
  7. Remove the bolt that attaches the LH 1st row buckle to the seat, and then remove the buckle from the vehicle.

    • 3 in extension
    • Ratchet/torque wrench
    • Torx T50 socket

Install

  1. Position the LH 1st row buckle onto the seat, and then install the bolt that attaches the buckle to the seat.
    45 Nm (33.2 lbs-ft)

    • 3 in extension
    • Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
    • Ratchet/torque wrench
    • Torx T50 socket
  2. Connect the LH 1st row buckle harness connector to the seat.
  3. Install the driver seat inboard side shield. See Side Shield - Inboard - Driver Seat (Remove and Replace).
  4. Close the RH falcon wing door.
  5. Raise the LH front window.
  6. Close the LH front door.
