Sensor - Ride Height - Rear - LH (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. See Raise Vehicle - 2 Post Lift.
  2. Remove the LH rear wheel. See Wheel Assembly (Remove and Install).
  3. Disconnect the LH rear ride height sensor electrical connector.
  4. Remove the bolt that attaches the LH rear height sensor to the suspension arm.
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 10 mm socket
  5. Remove the bolt that attaches the LH ride height sensor to the subframe, and then remove the sensor from the vehicle.
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 10 mm socket

Install

  1. Position the LH ride height sensor to the subframe, and then install the bolt that attaches the sensor to the vehicle.
    8 Nm (5.9 lbs-ft)
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 10 mm socket
  2. Install the bolt that attaches the LH rear height sensor to the suspension arm.
    5 Nm (3.7 lbs-ft)

    Note
    Do not bind or invert the orientation of the sensor arm.
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 10 mm socket
  3. Connect the LH rear ride height sensor electrical connector.
  4. Install the LH rear wheel. See Wheel Assembly (Remove and Install).
  5. Remove the vehicle from the lift. See Raise Vehicle - 2 Post Lift.
  6. Adjust the vehicle ride height. See Ride Height (Adjust).
