Lap Pretensioner - 1st Row - LH (Remove and Replace)

Remove
- Move driver seat forward.
- Remove the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace).
- Disconnect LV power. See LV Power (Disconnect and Connect).

Remove the driver seat outboard side shield assembly from the driver seat. See Side Shield - Outboard - Driver Seat (Remove and Replace).
NoteIt is not necessary to remove the back rest and cushion adjust switch from the trim assembly after removing the trim from the seat.

Release the safety lock, and then
disconnect the LH 1st row lap pretensioner electrical connector.

Remove the bolt that attaches the LH
1st row lap pretensioner to the seat track, and then remove the pretensioner from the
vehicle.NoteBolt is patched and held in place with a metal clip.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- T50 socket
Install

Position the LH 1st row lap pretensioner onto the seat track, and then install a new
bolt that attaches the pretensioner to the seat track.NoteAlign the guide pin onto the seat track.NoteMake sure to use the new patch bolt that is included with the new pretensioner.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Torx T50 socket

Connect the LH 1st row lap
pretensioner electrical connector, and then secure the safety lock.
- Install the driver seat outboard side shield assembly. See Side Shield - Outboard - Driver Seat (Remove and Replace).
- Connect LV power. See LV Power (Disconnect and Connect).
- Install the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace).

Calibrate the rear doors.
NoteIf the "Calibration Needed" message appears on the vehicle touchscreen, touch and hold Calibrate to calibrate the rear doors
- Move the driver seat to the original position.
