TPMS (Sensor ID Drive Learn)

Procedure

  1. Connect a laptop with Toolbox 3 to the vehicle. See Toolbox 3 (Connect and Disconnect).
  2. Click the Actions tab, and then search for "TPMS Erase."
  3. Click TPMS Sensor ID ErasePROC_VCSEC_X_TPMS-ERASE-SENSOR-IDGen3/tasks/PROC_VCSEC_X_TPMS-ERASE-SENSOR-ID Model3/tasks/PROC_VCSEC_X_TPMS-ERASE-SENSOR-ID ModelY/tasks/PROC_VCSEC_X_TPMS-ERASE-SENSOR-IDLow Voltage Controllers Low Voltage Controllers Low Voltage ControllersTPMS Sensor ID Erase and AutolearnPROC_VCSEC_X_TPMS-ERASE-AND-AUTOLEARNGen3/tasks/PROC_VCSEC_X_TPMS-ERASE-AND-AUTOLEARNLow Voltage ControllersFactory - Enable TPMS AutolearnFactory Mode Developer , and then click Run. Allow the routine to complete.

    Note
    This action erases stored TPMS Sensor IDs.
  4. Disconnect the laptop with Toolbox 3 from the vehicle. See Toolbox 3 (Connect and Disconnect).
  5. Drive the vehicle a short distance to verify all four TMPS sensor values are displaying on the touchscreen.

    Note
    The sensors will begin displaying values at approximately 5 mph. When vehicle receives communication from the sensors with known IDs, It will quickly connect to them. If tire pressures do not populate, rescan each sensor and try again.
