Window Motor/Regulator Assembly - Front - LH (Remove and Replace)
Correction code 11502002 0.72 NOTE: Unless otherwise explicitly stated in the procedure, the above correction code and FRT reflect all of the work required to perform this procedure, including the linked procedures. Remove
- Open the LH front door and lower the front windows.
- Remove the LH front door trim decor. See Decor - Trim - Front Door - LH (Remove and Replace).
- Remove the LH front door trim panel. See Panel - Door Trim - Front - LH (Remove and Replace).

Remove the bolts (x4) that attach the
LH front door controller module backing plate to the module, and then remove the plate
from the module.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 8 mm socket

Connect a window master switch to the
LH front door harness, and then raise the window fully.
NoteConnect door panel x927 if the switch kit is not available.

Apply masking tape to window and outer
belt molding, mark the glass position, and then break the tape between the glass and
molding.

Remove the butyl patch that covers the
access hole for the rear window regulator nut.

Loosen the nut that attaches the rear
of the window glass to the regulator.NoteThe nut does not need to be fully removed.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 10mm socket

Use the window master switch to fully
lower the LH front window, and then disconnect switch.
- Remove the LH front door outer belt seal . See Seal - Outer Belt - Front Door - LH (Remove and Replace).

Raise the regulator for access to the
front clip on the LH front window motor/regulator assembly.

Release the front clip on the LH front
window motor/regulator assembly, and then remove the LH front door glass from the door
assembly.
- Remove the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace).
- Disconnect LV power. See LV Power (Disconnect and Connect).

Release the locking tab, and then
disconnect the LH door pressure sensor connector.
NoteDo not push down on the red tab. Pull the red tab to disengage lock, and then pull again to release the connector.
- Remove the LH front door closeout panel. See Closeout Panel - Door - Front - LH (Remove and Replace).

Disconnect the LH front door cinch
motor connector.

Disconnect the LH front window
motor.

Remove the nuts (x2)that attach the
front section of the LH front door window regulator to the door.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 10mm socket

Remove the nuts (x2) that attach the
rear section of the LH front window regulator to the door.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 10mm socket

Remove the screws (x3) that attach the
LH front window motor to the door.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- T30 socket
-
Release the barrel clip, move the LH
front window motor/regulator assembly beams together, and then remove the regulator
through the opening in the door.
NoteThe barrel clip may not be equipped on all vehicles.
Install

Position the LH front window
motor/regulator assembly into the door, align the studs through the holes in the inner
door, and then secure the barrel clip.
NoteAlign all four studs through holes in inner door and secure barrel clip to stud

Install the nuts (x2) that attach the
rear section of the LH front window regulator to the door.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 10mm socket

Install the nuts (x2) that attach the
front section of the LH front door window regulator to the door.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 10mm socket

Install the screws (x3) that attach
the LH front window motor to the door.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- T30 socket

Connect the LH front window
motor.

Connect the LH front door cinch motor
connector.
- Install the LH front door closeout panel, but do not install the door trim panel yet. See Closeout Panel - Door - Front - LH (Remove and Replace).

Connect the LH door pressure sensor
connector, and then secure the locking tab.
- Connect LV power. See LV Power (Disconnect and Connect).
- Install the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace).

Position the LH front door glass into
the door, and then install the front clip on the LH front window motor/regulator
assembly.

Fully lower the LH front window, and
then disconnect the window switch.
NoteConnect door panel x927 if the switch kit is not available.
- Install the LH front door outer belt seal . See Seal - Outer Belt - Front Door - LH (Remove and Replace).

Raise the regulator for access to the
rear window glass clamp.

Position the window glass to the
previous marks, and then tighten the nut that attaches the rear of the window glass to
the regulator.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 10mm socket
- Remove the alignment tape from the glass and trim.

Check the gap between the LH front
window and the B-pillar applique.
NoteRefer to CVIS for current specifications.

Install the butyl patch that covers
the access hole for the rear window regulator nut.

Position the LH front door controller
module backing plate to the module, and then install the bolts (x4) that attach the
plate to the module.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 8 mm socket
- Fully lower the LH front window, and then disconnect the window switch special tool.
- Install the LH front door trim panel. See Panel - Door Trim - Front - LH (Remove and Replace).
- Install the LH front door trim decor. See Decor - Trim - Front Door - LH (Remove and Replace).

Calibrate the rear doors.
NoteIf the "Calibration Needed" message appears on the vehicle touchscreen, touch and hold Calibrate to calibrate the rear doors.

Press the LH front window switch down
to the second position to activate the auto-lower function, then raise the window
completely to activate the auto-raise function.
NoteIf the window does not lower completely, repeat previous calibration steps.
- Raise the front windows and close the LH front door.
