Remove
- Open the LH front door.
- Remove the underhood storage unit. See Underhood Storage Unit (Remove and Install).

Release the locking tab, and then
disconnect the hood actuator and cable assembly connector.
NoteRelease the locking tab to disconnect the connector.

Compress the tabs (x2) to release the hood latch actuator and cable from the hood
latch assembly.

Remove the bolts (x2) that attach the
hood actuator and cable assembly to the vehicle, and then remove the assembly.
TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
- 10 mm deep socket
Install

Install the hood actuator and cable
assembly to the vehicle, and then install the bolts (x2) that attach the assembly to the
vehicle.
10 Nm (7.4 lbs-ft)TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:- Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
- 10 mm deep socket

Install the hood latch actuator and cable into the double pull single actuator hood
latch assembly.
NoteMake sure the tabs (x2) are fully engaged onto the hood latch assembly.

Connect the hood actuator and cable
assembly connector.
- Install the underhood storage unit. See Underhood Storage Unit (Remove and Install).
- Raise the LH front window and close the LH front door.
