Side Panel - Center Console - LH (Remove and Replace)

Remove
- Open the LH and RH front doors.
- Lower the LH and RH front windows.
- Open the LH and RH falcon wing doors.
- Move the LH and RH front seats forward.
- Remove the center console lower rear panel. See Panel - Lower Rear - Center Console (Remove and Replace).

Remove the bolts (x2) that attach the LH and RH rear console carriers to the
vehicle.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 6 in extension
- 10 mm socket
- Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench

Remove the screws (x6) that attach the
center console rear cup holder assembly to the console.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Mini ratchet bit set

Release the clips (x3) that attach the
center console rear cup holder assembly to the console, pull straight downwards at the
rear of the cup holder, and then rotate the datums (x2) out of the console lower
frame.
NoteUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Plastic trim tool

Disconnect the connector from the
center console rear cup holder assembly, and then remove the cup holder from the
console.
- Move the LH and RH front seats rearward.
- Remove the center console phone dock. See Phone Dock - Center Console (Remove and Replace).
- Remove the instrument panel service panel. See Service Panel - Instrument Panel (Remove and Replace).
- Remove the LH front floor mat from the vehicle.
- Remove the driver outboard footwell cover. See Cover - Footwell - Outboard - Driver (Remove and Replace).
- Remove the driver inboard footwell cover. See Cover - Footwell - Inboard - Driver (Remove and Replace).
- Remove the LH center console side panel carpet. See Carpet - Side Panel - Center Console - LH (Remove and Replace).

Remove the bolt that attaches the LH center console lower bracket to the instrument
panel carrier.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 2 in extension
- 10 mm socket
- Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
- Remove the RH front floor mat from the vehicle.
- Remove the passenger footwell cover. See Cover - Footwell - Passenger (Remove and Replace).

Release the clips (x11) that attach the RH center console side panel carpet to the
vehicle, and then remove the carpet from the vehicle.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Clip pry tool

Remove the bolt that attaches the RH center console lower bracket to the instrument
panel carrier.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 2 in extension
- 10 mm socket
- Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench

Disconnect the center console connectors (x4) from the body harness.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Pocket screwdriver

Remove the bolts (x2) that attach the LH and RH center console carrier brackets to
the vehicle.
- Recline the LH and RH front seat backrests.
- Remove the center console assembly. See Center Console Assembly (Remove and Replace).

Release the clips (x17) that attach
the LH center console side panel to the console, and then remove the panel from the
console.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Clip pry tool
Install

Position the LH center console side panel onto the console, and then install the
clips (x17) that attach the panel to the console.
- Install the center console assembly. See Center Console Assembly (Remove and Replace).

Install the bolt that attaches the LH center console lower bracket to the instrument
panel carrier.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 2 in extension
- 10 mm socket
- Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
- Ratchet/torque wrench

Install the bolt that attaches the RH center console lower bracket to the instrument
panel carrier.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 2 in extension
- 10 mm socket
- Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
- Ratchet/torque wrench

Connect the center console connectors
(x4) to the body harness.
NoteEnsure that all of the connector locks engage.

Install the bolts (x2) that attach the
LH and RH center console carrier brackets to the vehicle.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 2 in extension
- 10 mm socket
- Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
- Ratchet/torque wrench

Install the clips (x11) that attach the RH center console side panel carpet to the
vehicle.
- Install the passenger footwell cover. See Cover - Footwell - Passenger (Remove and Replace).

Install the RH front floor mat.
- Install the LH center console side panel carpet. See Carpet - Side Panel - Center Console - LH (Remove and Replace).
- Install the driver inboard footwell cover. See Cover - Footwell - Inboard - Driver (Remove and Replace).
- Install the driver outboard footwell cover. See Cover - Footwell - Outboard - Driver (Remove and Replace).

Install the LH front floor mat.
- Install the instrument panel service panel. See Service Panel - Instrument Panel (Remove and Replace).
- Install the center console phone dock. See Phone Dock - Center Console (Remove and Replace).
- Move the LH and RH front seats forward.
- Raise the LH and RH front seat backrests.

Connect the connector to the center console rear cup holder assembly.

Align the center console rear cup holder assembly datums (x2) with the console,
rotate the cup holder upwards into the console lower frame, and then install the clips
(x3) that attach the cup holder to the console.

Install the screws (x6) that attach the center console rear cup holder assembly to
the console.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Mini ratchet bit set
- Ratchet/torque wrench

Install the bolts (x2) that attach the LH and RH rear console carriers to the
vehicle.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 6 in extension
- 10 mm socket
- Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
- Ratchet/torque wrench
- Install the center console lower rear panel. See Panel - Lower Rear - Center Console (Remove and Replace).
- Move the LH and RH front seats to original position.
- Close the LH and RH falcon wing doors.
- Raise the LH and RH front windows.
- Close the LH and RH front doors.
