Sensor - Air Quality (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Remove the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace).
  2. Disconnect the electrical harness from the air quality sensor connector.
  3. Use a plastic trim tool to raise the tab at the air quality sensor base out of the divot, rotate the air quality sensor counter-clockwise 45 degrees, and then remove the sensor from the duct.

Install

  1. Align the tab at the base of the air quality sensor with the notch in the hole in the duct, install the sensor, and then rotate the sensor clockwise 45 degrees, so that the tab engages the divot.
  2. Connect the electrical harness to the air quality sensor connector.
  3. Install the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace).
