  1. Open the LH front door.
  2. Lower both front windows.
  3. Move LH front seat forward
  4. Open LH falcon wing door
  5. Move LH Monopost seat forward
  6. Remove LH rear sill assembly

  7. Open charge port door using UI

  8. Open the hood.
  9. Remove the rear underhood apron.
  10. Open liftgate
  11. Remove trunk rear load floor
  12. Remove trunk pocket load floor
  13. Remove trunk tub floor insulator
  14. Remove trunk carpet
  15. Remove LH trunk sill side trim

  23. Fold LH 3rd row seat back into down position
  24. Remove fasteners securing LH upper C-pillar trim to bracket

  25. Remove LH upper C-pillar trim

  28. Remove LH trunk side trim carpet

  29. Remove LH trunk side trim bracket

  30. Raise LH 3rd row seat back into the upright position
  31. Power off the vehicle using the touchscreen.
  32. Disconnect the LV battery connector and First Responder Loop.
  33. Verify operation of multimeter

    Set multimeter to DC voltage, Confirm multimeter is properly measuring voltage by testing LV battery, Touch lightly and do not damage terminals
  34. Remove all items from pockets and ensure not wearing metal items
  35. Inspect HV insulating gloves

  36. Put on HV insulating gloves and leather over gloves
  37. Verify there is no high voltage present at the charge port

    Make sure to wear PPE (HV gloves, safety glasses) when working on high voltage component, Measure B+ to B-, and B+ to Ground (use trunk striker as a ground for the isolation check) If voltage is greater than 10V, Pack contactors are not open or welded, Stop work and reach out to Service Engineering,
  38. Remove leather over gloves and HV insulating gloves
  39. Release 3rd row seat harness trays from seat frame

  41. Remove 3rd row seat cushion from vehicle

    2x clips, While pushing down on cushion, feel for rocket clips and disengage locking tabs, Clips located on both ends of seat cushion, Feed cushion harnesses below 3rd row seat backs, Place cushion on protected surface
  42. Remove LH inner reinforcement from body

    9x bolts, T40, 27 Nm, Use a T40 socket with 8mm wrench to loosen the lower 2 bolts to avoid removal of 3rd row seat frame, Then use hex bit ratchet to remove bolts fully, All other bolts can be removed with 1/4in. Dr. ratchet and 1/4in. Dr. T40 socket
  43. Disconnect LH tail lamp

  46. Release charge port latch connection

  56. Install bolt securing charge port door to vehicle body

  57. Secure charge port door harness grommet onto body

  59. Install charge port assembly into vehicle and secure bolts

    4x bolts, 10mm, 7 Nm, 2x datums, Start by lining up the datums on charge port with the charge port door, Then proceed to thread in all bolts, New charge port will come pre-applied with penetrox
  60. Clean charge port assembly busbar contact surface of residual penetrox

    Use plastic trim tool to push IPA wipe down between plastic divider, Allow 1 minute dry time
  61. Clean contact surfaces of busbar leads to remove any residual Penetrox

  62. Apply Penetrox to backside of busbar leads

    Apply 2 drops of Penetrox A-13 about 5mm in diameter to either side of the hole on both leads, Spread evenly to verify the contact surface is fully covered
  63. Install charge port busbar leads to charge port assembly

    2x nuts, 11mm, 9 Nm, Nuts have captured washers, If excessive force is required to seat busbars, they may have been bent. Inspect for damage and replace if necessary
  64. Inspect HV insulating gloves

  65. Put on HV insulating gloves and leather over gloves
  66. Perform Hioki resistance test at each HV joint from HV busbar lead to charge port stud

    2x HV joints, Measure both joints at the highlighted locations, The acceptable resistance is between 0.050 mΩ (50 μΩ) and 0.270 mΩ (270 μΩ).If the resistance is greater than 0.270 mΩ (270 μΩ), there is too much resistance in the High Voltage joint. Remove the fastener, clean areas with isopropyl alcohol, install fastener back and test again. If the resistance is lower than 0.050 mΩ (50 μΩ), reposition the probes and measure again. If the resistance is repeatedly between 0.00 mΩ and 0.050 mΩ (50 μΩ), Hioki test passed, proceed to next step.

  73. Secure LH tail lamp connector

  75. Install 3rd row seat cushion

  76. Connect 3rd row seat cushion connections and secure to brackets
