Noise Absorber - Motor Bay - Rear (Remove and Replace)

Remove
- Raise and support the vehicle. See Raise Vehicle - 2 Post Lift.
- Open the LH front door.
- Lower the LH and RH front windows.
- Remove the rear subframe assembly. See Subframe Assembly - Rear (Plaid) (Remove and Install).

Release the clips (x4) that attach the rear motor bay brake line to the body.
NoteRotate the clips counter clockwise to aid in removal.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Clip pry tool

Release the clips (x6) that attach the rear motor bay noise absorber to the body, and then remove the noise absorber from the vehicle.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Clip pry tool
Install

Position the rear motor bay noise absorber on the vehicle, and then install the clips (x6) that attach the noise absorber to the body.

Install the clips (x4) that attach the rear motor bay brake line to the body.
- Install the rear subframe assembly. See Subframe Assembly - Rear (Plaid) (Remove and Install).

Calibrate the rear doors.
NoteIf the "Calibration Needed" message appears on the vehicle touchscreen, touch and hold Calibrate to calibrate the rear doors.
- Perform four wheel alignment check and adjust. See Four Wheel Alignment Check and Adjust.
- Raise the LH and RH front windows.
- Close the LH front door.
