Strut - Rear Door - Primary - LH - Forward (Remove and Replace)

Remove
- Remove the LH rear door trim lower garnish. See Garnish - Lower - Door Trim - Rear - LH (Remove and Replace).
- Remove the LH front upper rear door trim bracket. See Bracket - Rear Door Trim - Upper - Front - LH (Remove and Replace).

Remove the strut C-clip cover.

Support the LH rear door.
NotePlace protection between the stand and the door.

Release the strut C-clip from the door
side.
NoteRelease the C-clip while pulling strut away from the ball joint.NoteDo not fully remove the C-clip.

Disconnect the strut electrical
connector.

Release the clips (x2) that attach the
strut electrical harness to the door.

Release the C-clip that attaches the
strut on the body side, and then remove the strut from the vehicle.
NoteRelease C-clip while pulling strut away from the ball joint.NoteDo not fully remove C-clip.
Install

Install the strut onto the body side,
and then secure it with C-clip.
NoteAlign strut to the ball joint and engage.NotePerform push-pull test to confirm strut is fully installed.

Secure the clips (x2) that attach the
strut electrical harness to the door.

Connect the strut electrical
connector.

Install the strut onto the door side,
and secure it with C-clip.

Remove the support stand.
- Install the LH front upper rear door trim bracket. See Bracket - Rear Door Trim - Upper - Front - LH (Remove and Replace).
- Install the LH rear door trim lower garnish. See Garnish - Lower - Door Trim - Rear - LH (Remove and Replace).

Calibrate the rear doors.
NoteIf the "Calibration Needed" message appears on the vehicle touchscreen, touch and hold Calibrate to calibrate the rear doors.
