This procedure describes work that is
specific to 2025+ Model X.
Remove
- Open the LH front door and lower the LH front window.
- Raise and support the vehicle. See Raise Vehicle - 2 Post Lift.
- Remove the underhood storage unit. See Underhood Storage Unit (Remove and Install).

Disconnect the washer reservoir hose
from the straight hose coupling at the cowl.

Release the clip that attaches the
washer bottle neck to the body.
- Remove the LH front wheel. See Wheel Assembly (Remove and Install).

Release the 4 clips at the rear edge
of the LH front fender garnish.

Release the clips and the push nut
that secure the front portion of the LH front wheel house liner.

Release the clips and the push nut
that secure the rear portion of the LH front wheel house liner, and then remove the
liner from the vehicle.

Disconnect the washer level
sensor.

Disconnect the washer pump
connector.
-
Release the clips (x3) that attach the
frunk harness to the washer bottle assembly.

Release the washer hose from the
washer bottle.
-
Separate the washer neck from the
washer reservoir.
NoteInspect the O-ring and replace if damaged.

Remove the washer level sensor from
the washer reservoir.
NoteInspect the seal for any damage. Replace the seal if it is damaged. Allow the washer fluid to drain.
- Remove the washer pump. See Pump - Washer (2025+) (Remove and Replace).

Remove the nuts (x3) that attach the
washer reservoir assembly to the vehicle.
TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 10 mm deep socket
Install

Install the nuts (x3) that attach the
washer reservoir assembly to the vehicle.
5 Nm (3.7 lbs-ft)TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:- 10 mm deep socket
- Install the washer pump. See Pump - Washer (2025+) (Remove and Replace).

Install the washer level sensor to the
washer reservoir.
NoteAlign the square edge with the mark on the bottle housing.

Lubricate the O-ring with washer fluid
to prevent damage, and then connect the washer neck to the washer reservoir.

Secure the washer hose to the washer
bottle.

Secure the clips (x3) that attach the
frunk harness to the washer bottle assembly.

Connect the washer pump
connector.

Connect the washer level sensor.
-
Install the LH front wheel house liner
and secure the clips and the push nut at the rear portion of the wheel house liner to
the body.

Install the clips and the push nut
that secure the front portion of the LH front wheel house liner.

Secure the released 4 clips at the
rear edge of the LH front fender garnish.
- Install the LH front wheel. See Wheel Assembly (Remove and Install).

Secure the clip that attaches the
washer bottle neck to the body.
-
Connect the washer reservoir hose to
the straight hose coupling at the cowl.
- Install the underhood storage unit. See Underhood Storage Unit (Remove and Install).

Fill the washer fluid reservoir until
the fluid level is visible just below the filler neck.
- Close the hood.
- Lower and remove the vehicle from the lift.
- Raise the LH front window and close the LH front door.
